WB Power Services leading the way in
Modular power production
The Wilmott Group’s acquisition of Hodgson Acoustics at
the end of 2023 welcomed significant business investment
and growth to its group of companies, whilst also ensuring
a very promising future for the ongoing modular power
solutions offered by WB Power Services.
For many years the former Hodgson Acoustics Ltd
manufactured acoustic enclosures supplied into the Data
Centre Market for WB Power Services.
Today, with the Wilmott Group’s acquisition of the
company, and now expansion of its own production
facilities, WB Power are in an industry leading position,
carrying the ability to control their entire supply chain.
By taking control of the design, fit out, assembly, testing,
delivery, installation and commissioning of its modular
power products, without the need to sub contract to any
third party companies, WB Power Services are able to
offer a truly exceptional consolidated service to their
customers.
Andy Wilmott, Co-CEO of the Wilmott Group and Managing
Director of WBPS and Wiltech, says: “To meet growing
demand, we are thrilled to scale up our production of e-Pod

enclosure packages at WB Power, and with this, expand
the supply of acoustic containers and enclosures at Wiltech
to support each other in this period of significant growth.

With completely vendor neutral client customised packages,
our 11kV/400V can be built entirely to client specification,
with complete flexibility of design.

assembly and build (working alongside client consultant),
CFD design and modelling and most importantly, off site
testing to level 3 standard.
