Critical Water Infrastructure in Georgia
Relies on KOHLER KD Series
When a pump station in Carroll County,
Georgia, was ready to incorporate backup
power solutions to their site, they turned
to Kohler and local distributor Nixon
Power Services.
Utilizing the Power Solutions Center, the
team installed a KD1500 generator to meet
the sizing, noise, and voltage requirements
of this project to ensure 19,000 citizens
would have access to clean water when
power is lost.
Power Systems EMEA Plant Extension
To keep pace with Datacenter market growth,
we have expanded production and storage
capacity at our Brest plant. This major
investment will help us to meet tomorrow’s
challenges in this important sector.
The expansion project gives us a new
4000m2 outdoor area with two 1250m2
metal industrial buildings. These buildings
have enabled us to increase our production
capacity as well as component storage
space. Additional handling equipment has
also been introduced.
Last but not least, new test facilities, including
20MVA resistive/inductive loadbanks, have
been commissioned to better meet the
requirements of Datacenter customers. Take
