Solution
The plug and play E-Pod met all the clients’
requirements for ease of use and problemfree installation. In addition to the other
equipment included, a Rehlko KD3500 3500kVA
/ 2800kW 400V 50Hz DCC rated generating
set was deployed which is designed to meet
performance class ISO8523G3. The engine
cooling system was a set mounted, dual circuit
vertical radiator using an engine driven cooling
fan. The entire unit was housed in a container
rated to achieve a noise level of 65dBA @1m
FFC. The generator is controlled using a hi-tech,
ergonomically designed Rehlko APM802 control
panel which can provide autonomous operation
of multiple generator sets and power plants. It is
particularly intuitive to use thanks to its 12-inch
color touch screen and the fact that no external
computer is required. The Rehlko engine offers
low levels of NOx emissions, but these emissions
were further reduced by the addition of a roof
mounted Selective Catalytic Reduction (SCR)
system enabling the NOx levels to meet the most
stringent of planning requirements.
Result
Seamlessly integrated into the plug and play
E-Pod solution, the innovative Rehlko generator
now offers reliable backup power to the Data
Center. Rehlko’s team of experts worked closely
with WBPS to ensure a seamless installation
that met the client’s specific requirements. The
partnership between Rehlko and WBPS resulted
in a successful project that showcases the power
of industry-leading technology and expertise
in delivering mission-critical power solutions.
